So last week i went to Panama City and had a crazy time. In fact i think that will be the last Spring break i go on in my life, haha. Anyways...when i returned as i was pulling up to my driveway and pulled up next to my car that was parked in the driveway at a friends house my car was completely smashed on the drivers side door. Somehow someone either backed up into the driver door or was pulling in and smashed the car. The window wont even go down and i took it to a car repair shop and they said it would cost between 1-$2,000 to fix. Looking in my bank account my net worth is a lot less.

Worst of all i have no clue who did, it was a hit and run. Bummer.

I work at a restaurant/sports bar, but I won’t mention the name. Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant industry knows the importance of teamwork. It would be impossible for a restaurant as big as my employer’s to function unless there is a combined effort from servers to maintain the restaurant and keep the customers happy. When I go to work I am constantly working my butt off to ensure that I am carrying my own wait. I run food, I stock side work, and I help bus tables. Above all, I always make sure my customers are happy. A friend of mine, who is also a coworker, is pretty much the opposite. He makes sure his guests are happy as long as it doesn’t interfere with his cigarettes breaks (about 6 per shift). He also doesn’t put any extra effort into helping out around the restaurant by stocking side work or running food. If we are out of cups or app plates he will go back to the kitchen and grab 2 for himself, instead of just bringing out a whole to stack to be a team player. Instead, he spends all his extra time standing around and sucking up to the managers.
I thought everyone in the restaurant knows how selfish he is, but apparently I was wrong. A week ago I went into work to find out he had actually been PROMOTED to bartender (which EVERYONE is mad about). I have been working there for four years (much longer than him) and have been trying to get behind the bar for the last year and a half. But instead of giving the position to someone who works hard, the bar manager decided to give it to someone who kisses his butt. I actually approached the manager about it, and he gave me some BS excuse about “availability.” I might as well stop going the extra mile to help out around that place because it obviously goes unnoticed. I’ll just spend my extra time socializing with the managers and see if that gets me anywhere.

Car got keyed AGAIN....Time to MOVE!!

So about 8 months ago my Infiniti G35 Sedan got keyed across the trunk and I had to pay the damage when I returned it 3 months ago. I got another Infiniti, this time the G37 Convertible. I'm very careful with my cars, I never park too close to anyone, always park away from congestion to avoid people that fling open their doors into other's cars.
So today I walk downstairs to the car at about 5pm and was furious when I saw that someone had keyed up the entire passenger side of the car. From the front fender to the back there was a deep key scratch. The car is only 3-4 months old and doesn't have one ding on it anywhere, until now.
What makes it so frustrating is that this is the second time it happened, and it happens while the car is parked at home. My deeded parking spot is located right next to the basketball courts where many times guests are playing. Aside from that it is located right between the guest spots and the buildings. So anyone that visits the community walks past my car to get to the building.

It is the worst feeling wanting to punch someone in their face for what they did, but not being able to hold anyone accountable. Adding to the frustration is that my new car will now have to be either painted (very expensive) to fix it right or will need to be touched up and driven around with scratches for the next 3 years.

What kind of person decides to just take their key out and run it across the side of someones car? I wish that all these disrespectful, unethical bastards suffer long and hard at the hands of karma.

Valet Parking

I just got my car back from the body shop last week. I had got rear ended by another vehicle and they had to replace my back bumper. After driving a rental vehicle for a week(a Chevy Cobalt), I was happy to finally get back in to my own car.

It was Friday night and my girlfriend and I decided that we were going to go out for a nice dinner. We valeted our car and went on to have a nice dinner. When we came out of the restaurant it was dark and I did not notice anything wrong with my car.

As soon as I got home and pulled my car in the driveway, I noticed that the corner of my back bumper was all scratched up with red paint! I was furious, I had just got the car back and valet damaged my car. To make matters worse, they didn't even tell me about it.

I called the restaurant and asked told them about what happened. They informed me that the valet company was contracted separately and that I would have to call a separate company. When I called the company in the morning, the told me that because I didn't tell them before I drove the vehicle away that they could not cover the damage. So basically because it was pitch black outside and his employees didn't tell me they crashed my car, I get stuck with a Chevy Cobalt for another week. PISSED ON.

Spring Break

Im writing this post in anticipation for a second Spring Break vacation that im taking on the 16th of next week.

It has been a while since i have been to Panama city and am unsure of what to expect.

Unreasonable professors must be controlled...

What can I do if after making every attempt to prove a professor wrong, she will not mend her policy? Why should I suffer if a professor refuses to put time and effort into her class?

This semester I am taking an online marketing class. The class is far from easy as it requires weekly case submission, responses to other's writing, weekly quizzes and 3 75-question exams. The difficulty of the course is not the problem however, it is the professor's lack of attention to detail and refusal for fairness.

From the beginning of the semester, there were unclear instructions on the discussion assignments. While the syllabus required summaries, the instructions on blackboard did not specify this. It wasn't until I had lost 4 points over two weeks and sending an email that this was clarified and I was told why I had lost the points.
The biggest issue however are her use of test bank questions for quizzes and exams. 4 out of 10 questions on each quiz will have more than one correct answer. Weeks after each quiz, once the answers are released I found myself having to review all those wrong and post the reasons why my answers were correct.

On one occasion after pointing out a question I believed I had answered correctly, I was denied credit based on the professors vague reasoning. The same question had come up on the exam and after choosing the answer described as correct by the professor, was marked incorrect. Once again, I had to bring this to her attention and she ended up issuing 5 points towards everyones grade.

However the last exam was the worst. I was able to identify 6 questions that I felt I deserved credit for, citing references from the book I was denied credit for all but 1 question. Her explanations ranged from "even though they are both correct, this is the best answer" and others based on outside information that was not presented in the material.

Knowing there are problems with the test bank, the questions and the answer sheet - she refuses to provide any curve on the exam, any extra credit assignments or any reasonable explanations. Everything is graded late and she doesn't even make herself available to meet in person.

After reading every chapter for every quiz I am sure I know the material but am losing points on her lack of direction and poor teaching methods. The quizzes do not reflect the material learned as this week I had received a 7/10 on a chapter I read and a 10/10 on the chapter I didn't read.

I plan to wait until I receive all the grades in this class and if I do not receive the grade I deserve will take my frustration from this blog and to the offices of her superiors. I truly believe that anyone that is able to see the issues over the course of this semester will agree with me. I can only hope that my grade will not suffer as a result.

How Yahoo ruined my week...

Coming from a very competitive basketball fanatic...I am VERY pissed off this week that Yahoo will not do anything about screwing my fantasy team in the playoffs.

It is the first round of the playoffs I just lost Andrew Bynum to injury and Mark Gasol is out with a neck strain. Chris Paul (half of his former self) and Kobe Bryant only play 3 games this week...yet i'm still in it on Sunday night to make it to the next round.

In a 10 category head-2-head league I am now tied 5-5 and hold the tiebreaker just as Corey Maggette misses a FT and sends my FT Percentage below my opponents. Score is now 4-6. Final minutes of the game and I still need 3 ft's in a row to regain the lead that I just lost. As time runs down, one of my players makes two ft's which results in a tied FT percentage of .796 and a final score of 4-5.

After dealing with the loss I take a close look at the numbers...and I ACTUALLY WON but now the losing team is going on to the next round!! Because YAHOO rounds the percentage to three decimal places...my actual percentage was rounded down from .7964 and his was rounded up from .7957

I email yahoo and instead of fixing the problem all they can tell me is that they round percentages to three decimal places. To make matters worse the next team to beat is a guaranteed ticket to the finals with $700 for the winner and $200 for runner up.

So after 4 months of fantasy, after losing two players early in the week and still winning the matchup...I got pissed on by YAHOOOOOOOOO!

Bad Start to a Great Weekend

So its Valentines Day...Me and my girl(currently fiancée) had planned a weekend to the keys that we had been looking forward to for months.

The day is here, we pack get into the car and start making our way to Key West. For anyone who's not familiar the majority of the way, you are on a two lane road with no other alternative.

As we drive south we hit some traffic and then something hit us. That something was a motorcycle. As traffic slowed I hit the brakes and noticed a motorcycle moving quickly in the rear-view mirror. I swerved into the shoulder to allow him more space but instead the bike followed me and ended up hitting me from behind. As the crash occurred the guy on the bike flipped off the bike landing on the ground near the front of the car.
He got up and walked away with only a few scrapes. For a guy that loves his cars I was pissed off about the damage. I did the best I can do forget about the accident and enjoy the weekend. We had a great time but after we got back, I found out the bike was a rental and the guy declined insurance leaving me PISSED ON and paying for the damage!!

Pushover Bras

Do you ever get frustrated with women, and cant seem to know what they want . . . Unless your Don Juan we could all use a little advice.

As a man, be a man with a plan when you go out on the weekends and if your girl says she doesnt wanna do what you wanna do then leave her behind. This assumes your not necessarily in a LTR...if not chances are the girl is going to lose respect for you if you do what she wants, and besides girls would rather the guy make the decisions.

Lesson 1: Dont be a push over, and do what you want and like to do and bring the girl along with you. If she doesnt wanna go, then CYA!

I own and operate a valet parking company. The company is currently in transition to merge with another company in the area. The deal is just about a week from being completed. The other day one of my valets decided the back in to a light post at a private country club.

Not only did he damage the light post but the vehicles rear bumper needs to be replaced. All estimated repair costs total over $5000! To top it all off my insurance won't cover it. It would have been perfect if I could have gone just a few more weeks with out a MAJOR damage expense.

When I asked my employee how he hit the light post he said that he was looking at not hitting the curb and didnt see the light post. I later found out that the car had a rear view camera. How do some people drive? Coincidentally that was the same employee who got into the car accident in my previous blog post.

Who gets stuck with the damage bill? I DO! PISSED ON

Injustice Prevails

My dad submitted this story to me. Yet another example of how selfish and inconsiderate people can be. Ken writes:

“In the mid-80s my wife and I partnered with a man to buy $8 million worth of notes from a bank for a purchase price of only $80,000. The plan was to turn around and settle with the customers who owed the bank money, knowing we would earn a substantial profit considering we purchased the notes at an extreme discount. It was out partner’s duty to collect from the customers, and we were to split the profit 50/50. After a while we started receiving complaints from customers who said they had already paid, but there was no record of the payments. We soon realized our partner was pocketing most of the money. We know he collected at least the $80,000 that we had invested, but we had not seen even close to that amount of money in return. We sued him to get the money back, but after realizing his intention to jerk us around in a prolonged court battle as well as the difficulty we would have proving exactly how much he stole, we agreed to settle for only $15,000.”

This story is particularly frustrating to me because, although I wasn’t born yet, my five brothers and sisters were well alive and I know my family really needed the money at that time. I’ll never understand why bad people get away with doing terrible things. People always tell me to trust in karma, but I’m not quite that naive. I think you have to serve your own justice.

Can Old People Drive????

I was at work waiting for one of my employees to show up for his shift. It was roughly 5:15 p.m. and he was already late for work. All of a sudden we hear this big crash. We all look over to the intersection and see this truck do 3 or 4 360 degree turns. After the dust settled we realized that it was our late employee.

I rushed over to the scene of the accident and quickly heard sirens approaching. To my surprise the employee was not injured. I checked on the other driver and she was fine as well. I started to ask what had happened and was not surprised once I heard what Jeromie had to say.

"I was approaching the intersection to take a left hand turn into work. The light had turned yellow and I was in the middle of the intersection. I allowed all traffic to pass as the light turned red. Once I thought all traffic had tried to "beat" the light I went and made the left turn. Out of no where a large 4 door cadillac decided to run the red light! Just as I was making the turn she hit me on the passenger rear side of my car and spun me around. I tried to swerve to avoid being hit but it was too late."

I took a look at the lady and her car. This woman had to be no younger than 80 years old and was driving a HUGE cadillac 4 door sedan. She barely could see over the steering wheel and had the big glasses on. My assumption is that she did not even see Jeromie or the red light. When are they going to make older people take driving tests in order to keep their license????? Jeromies car was totaled and he is now riding the bus. Jeromie has officially been PISSED ON.

Fired 2010

Imonna let my roommate regurgitate how he got fired today...have you ever been FIRED?

"So i work at Kaplan and they have quotos of how many students you need to sign up every month, and i was unable to meet my quotos over the course of the last three months. Your supposed to sign up 3 students each month, and i only got 1 student signed up in 3 months. There's no job security, everyone dreads their job, and thats why people quit in the first place. There's no such thing as getting a raise, or getting up to diamond level to make $100,000 per year...Today they told me to keep calling students, but instead of calling students i would play games online, go to my coworkers and find out what other businesses we could create, and i would fake call students...

Long story short for all the unemployed out there, i feel your pain, i was called into the office, they sat me down, and looked over my paperwork and they said, "Robert were looking at your numbers and your way off, enable for you to stay here you need five more students... so i thought go suck # $$$$, ill get five more students in 15 months.

There are a lot of selfish people in the world. There are also a lot of stupid people in the world. For most people, before they lie, they think the situation through and try to figure out if they will even be able to get away with it. That's not the case for this next story. Chris writes:

"My ex and I had been dating for 4 years, and it was a pretty rocky relationship. One day she came to me and said she wanted to try to have a baby with me. It was probably stupid, but I agreed because at that point I was willing to try anything to make it work. After about a month of trying she took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive. But when we went for the doctor visit I was in for a surprise. When the doctor told us the date of conception I immdeiately realized that it was about two weeks before we even started trying. She actually had gotten pregnant from another guy and tried to trick me into thinking it was my baby so I would help her raise it. She's stupid. I can't believe she actually thought she could get away with it. We obviously broke up after that."

First off, I don't understand how someone can try to do something so deceitful and actually live with themselves. Second, she's obviously a complete moron. Every woman knows they tell you the date of conception. What I want to know is how he was with her for that long without realizing what a crappy person she is. That doesn't exactly happen overnight for most people. I guess love is blind.

Restaurant Bill - Who's paying?

Do you have a friend that thinks hes a baller until it comes time to paying the bill?

It was a weekend to celebrate, as one party was booked to celebrate two birthdays. Lucky for me I was at a separate table because I had friends visiting from New York.
Before coming to the restaurant, reservations were made for 20 people to place a la carte orders from the house menu but that is not exactly what happened.
Getting there first, Alex who came in with Heath (Birthday boy #1) saw it necessary to change the reservations and take a table by the dance floor with a banquet style dinner. The price was roughly $95/person, not including liquor, tax and gratuity. When Marlen (Birthday boy #2) showed up half the table was already there eating the food on the table so he figured he will join and have a good time.
As everyone arrived, there were people that were not able to pay $140/person to cover their rearranged share of the bill and instead chipped in what they can.
Alex, seeing the problem ahead of time decided to leave $300 for him and his girl and leave without saying a word to anyone. Others followed and then come the bill...
The money was $1200 short of the total, was left for the drunk, and wasted Marlen to pay. The owners of the restaurant were friends with the parents of a girl at the party, which did not help the situation.
Everyone is now outside, the owner is yelling at everyone to pay the bill - Marlen can barely stand while getting into a fight with a waiter. The girls are trying to calm the situation down and everyone is calling Alex to take of the bill but he is nowhere to be found. I, who had a separate table, was stuck in the middle - holding Marlen back from the waiter, trying to reason with the owner and coming up with a solution to this problem.
At the end, Marlen paid as much as he can and later that week Alex came to cover the difference. After being friends for over 5 years it has now been three years since the birthday celebration and they have not spoken since.It is not smart making decisions on behalf of 20 people and even worse not taking responsibility for your actions. Bad decision, bad night...and a birthday bill Marlen will not forget.

Drag Racing? I dont think so...

After a night on the Las Olas strip we were headed home and decided to take US1 instead of the I95. 8 of us in 2 seperate cars drove at approximately 2AM through mostly empty streets.
Being the only cars on the street we were stopped every two blocks because of red lights and were apparently accelerating too fast. One police car managed to pull both of us over and we both received criminal tickets for "drag racing on the roadway".
This was a major problem considering we never went over the speed limit, didnt run any red lights and had not broken any other laws of the roadway. Good thing for a great ticket lawyer in South Beach named Geoffrey McLaughlin.
After submitting both tickets to him he was able able to work his magic (again!) and get both dismissed without any points, fees or other repurcussions. Luckily for us there was a similar case which was a lot more extreme in which a corvette was racing on the I95 at speeds above 100 MPG and after receiving the same violation got the ticket dismissed due to a vague statute.
Apparently the "Drag racing on the roadway" did not specify the necessary conditions necessary and was no clear in its definition so we were able to walk away from this without major concenquences. The lawyer charged us $500 per ticket and even though I feel like we werent deserving of the violation in the first place it is a small price to pay for avoiding a criminal record!
Next time you get a ticket...call Geoffrey McLaughlin and let him work his magic!

Bed Bugs Bite

As a good follow-up to my last post about fleas, I want to share a friend's story that he submitted to me. Matthew writes:

"I met my ex-girlfriend in Michigan and we decided to move down to Florida. We didn't have much furniture at the time, and we didn't have money to buy it either . Luckily, my ex's dad is a Realtor and, during a showing one day, found out the person who was moving out of the house didn't want their furniture. He offered to take it off their hands and give it to us since we definitely needed it. After about three months of livivng with the new furniture we finally realized that it all had bed bugs! The problem had gotten so bad by that time that we had to throw out all of our furniture; and rather than dealing with the hassle of trying to get rid of them completely, we decided to break our lease and move out 2 months early. Luckily we got out of paying any fees for breaking the lease. We told them we got the bed bugs from living there. Haha."

Bed bugs are way harder to get rid of than fleas. Makes me feel better about my situation. I definitely feel like the person who gave them the furniture had to have know about the bugs. I guess that's argueable. But you have to wonder why they just didn't want the furniture....or any money for it! Nothing is free these days. Sorry Matt.

Hit & RUN!!

So the other day i was pulling out a parking space at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton FL. I was playing my music really loud as i was pulling out and when i looked to my right i saw an old lady about to go past me so i stopped reversing and then all of a sudden i heard a loud sound and felt the car jerk forward...i was thinking what the hell when i realized that the old lady in her Lincoln just hit my car.

As i was getting out of my car to deal with this old lady, she just kept driving off. I dont even think she realized she hit me. Now im stuck with a decent size dent in my bumper, just another bad day!

Rear end Accident

I was on my way to work and stopped at a red light. All of a sudden I felt a jolt from behind. A ford SUV had rear ended my brand new Infiniti G35 coupe. Trying to stay calm, I got out of the vehicle to access the damage and talk to the driver that hit me. My rear bumper only had a small dent and a few scratches. The car that hit me had no damage to their car at all. The female driver who hit me was hysterically crying and pleading with me not to call the cops. She was afraid that her insurance rates were going to go up drastically. Being a good person I told her that I had a friend who owned a body repair shop and that I could get my vehicle fixed rather inexpensively. We exchanged our information and went our separate ways for the day. I told her that I would contact her in the morning with an estimate on the repair. When I contacted her in the morning she told me that she was still too upset to talk and that I should contact her mom who was a lawyer. I hung up with the lady who hit me and called her mother to discuss reimbursement for the damage done to my car. The mother immediately got defensive and insisted that there was no damage to my vehicle and that I was making the whole thing up. I informed her that if I had to I would contact the police and report the whole thing.

Little did I know that you can’t report an accident after you leave. I got stuck with the whole repair bill! Lesson learned; don’t try to be nice when someone hits your car….even if it is a crying woman. PISSED ON!

A Very Expensive Night Out

My girlfriend was in NY for the weekend and my friends were in town so we decided to go out to South Beach. What a long night this would turn out to be.
My friend drove that night and 4 of us got a bottle at Dek23 in South Beach. After having a number of drinks and getting pretty drunk I went to the bathroom and ended up with an $750 bill on the following morning.
Once in the bathroom I was approached by the bouncers who prevented me from leaving. Seeing that I was drunk they made me sign the bill for the bottle and proceeded to kick me out of the club. Once outside I now had no wallet, no keys and no phone (everything was in the car) but I was lucky enough to have cash to take a cab home.
Once I got home it was already 3 am and I had no keys to get in...I ended up sleeping by the door until the following morning and then using the concierge phone to call a friend and take another cab to his house to get some rest before getting my keys and finally getting inside my apartment.
Calling the club the next day I was told I apparently broke a shelf in the bathroom that cost $400....this was all nonsense as I had not broken anything and there is no bathroom shelf that can possibly cost $400, at least not one that would be used in a club. I put in a dispute with the credit card company but was denied because my signature was on their receipt.
It was one of the worst nights I had ever had...it was embarrassing, frustrating and at the end if cost me over $800.

Speakers

It was a perfect day and I was driving down Tennessee blvd. when I realized that I needed to get gas. I stopped at the first gas station that I saw to fill my car up. A gentleman approached me and asked me if I’d like to look at some speakers he had in his truck. He told me that he had got them from a warehouse that overstocked his truck. He insisted the speaker set was worth at least $2,500. He told me if I gave him $1000 cash and took the speakers that he would sell them to me. I thought this was a great deal. The speakers appeared to be in great condition and I did in fact need a nice surround sound system for my apartment. He followed me to an ATM and we settled up. Needless to say I was excited to get home and set up my new speakers. I got everything set up and was ready to turn it on. Well, no sound was coming out. I got completely screwed and there was no one to contact. Stupidity? Yes, of course. I learned never to take anyone’s word for something. PISSED ON!

Flea-Bag

About a month ago I was talking to a friend on the phone and she invited me over to her house. She wanted me to bring my dog Cedes so that her dog and mine could play together. What she failed to tell me is that her dog was severly flea-infested. I didn't realize it until the next day, and by that time Cedes had already passed the fleas on to my cat, Porsche.

For those of you who don't know, fleas are incredibly hard to get rid of. I have been trying for a month now, and I still cannot get rid of the fleas on my animals. Unfortunately, my apartment is almost completely covered in carpet, which makes just as cozy of a home for fleas as my animals' fur. Even when I think I've gotten every last flea off the cat and dog, its only 10 minutes before I find more on them.

I have now spent over $150 on flea shampoos, sprays, and carpet treatments...yet I still have fleas everywhere in my apartment. All I ask is that if you know your animal has fleas (and you would have to know), just don't let your friends bring their animals over. Please.

Broken Door Part 2

After the broken door incident, we decided not to throw any more parties...little did we know we were going to throw another 3 kegger that following Saturday, an even bigger party than the week before.

So we had another 3 kegger, the following week we were arrested for house partying. The cops came but all of us room-mates and there was 6 of us ran to our rooms, shut and locked our doors turning off the lights...

The cops were in our house probably the kitchen yelling for the homeowners and saying they know us and arrested us last week and their going to take us all to jail.

Meanwhile im in my room having learned my lesson last week i wasnt about to talk to the cops...but i had a crazy cough and couldnt stop and also i had to pee really bad because i was drinkingt a lot.

I saw a cup next to my bed so i just peed in the cup while hearing the cops yelling outside my door, and dont forget the cops are outside my door and i have a huge hole in my door they could've looked through.

Finally the cops left, all 6 roomies came out and turns out i wasnt the only one who peed in a cup haha, anyways Milo freaks out again and says he's going to go to a bar and buy some beers so he would have an Alliby if he was arrested for the house party..

Long story short Milo got mad again both high and drunk to solve the problem he decides to destroy the rest of my door; ripping the door of the hinges. Im still waiting for a new door

Broken Door

So a few weeks ago we threw a 3 kegger house party, invited a few people soon enough there was around 250 people at the house and it was out of control. People making out, jumping in the pool halfnaked etc... Right before the party is getting good and girls getting loose, some dudes get in a fight and then the cops come through door.

Everybody runs, cops asking for the homeowner...so Milo (ex-convict on probation) and Myself (never been arrested) decide to talk to the cops. Next thing we know were both arrested for allowing underage drinking. Placed in handcuffs with written arrests but the cops decided not to take us to jail, we just had to go to court.

Long story short Milo who now thinks he has to flee the country or go back to prison for 5 years, gets pissed off and throws the dining table at the wall, then he runs over to my door and punches a hole in MY DOOR and i have to pay for the door... All i have to say is "what the hell Milo?"

Worst Roomates Ever

So my boyfriend and I decided to get a place with my best friend of 6 years and her boyfriend, figuring we would save a lot of money splitting our bills 4 ways. Unfortunately we ended up $2000 short plus the last 6 months rent to pay on our own because we ended up having to kick them out of the apartment.

My boyfriend and I had $700 cash stashed away in our room while we went to work one night. The next morning we realized our money was missing and immediately questioned our roomates. The boyfriend admitted that he had a friend over the night before and that he left him unattended for "about 10 minutes" while he "went to the bathroom." We told him it was his responsibility to get us the money back, and in the same day he returned $400 and promised to get the rest of it back. We knew we would probably never see rest of the money, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt anyway.

Then, a month later, the boyfriend comes crying to us, saying that he had to go through our room and "borrow" $100 because there was a drug-dealer at our door who was threatening him because he owed him money. He told us a sob story about how he "fell off the wagon" for a couple of weeks but that he was not doing drugs anymore. He wanted us to promise not to tell his girlfriend because he was afraid she would leave him. Well, we wanted to be sure we got all of our money back so we told him we would keep quiet if he paid us back the $100 that he "borrowed" plus the $300 that his "friend" stole. (I think its pretty obvious that he stole the money the first time too). He eventually paid it all back.

But then we realized a couple weeks later that we were missing a $2000 diamond ring that my boyfiend had bought 8 years earlier. We called the boyfriend and said "Look, we know you took that diamond ring too, and if you don't get it back to us, or the $2000 , you can forget about coming back to the apartment." His only response was "I didn't take your ring man. But I guess that's it? I'll just get out then." He did not even put up a fight.

My stupid friend chose to leave with her pill-head, coke-snorting boyfriend, and left us with the rent to pay on our own for the next 6 months. Not to mention he got away scott-free with the ring. It's so unfair. It just goes to show you never really know who you can trust.

Check Fraud - $900 Screw Job

When I was younger I thought I knew it all and invested $800 to buy a Touch Screen DVD Player that I thought I can flip for more money, what ended up happening was I got screwed for $900.

After buying the DVD Player I listed it on Ebay and found a buyer. The buyer requested to do a COD transaction via UPS and after doing some brief research it seemed ok so I sent out the product. The way the service works is the buyer gives the delivery man a check at the time of delivery. He did exactly that but what happened next was not what I expected.

After going to the bank and depositing the check I found out 10 days later that the check had bounced. Not only did the check bounce but it bounced because there was no such customer and no such account number at the funding bank. I now had no DVD Player and had $800 less to my name.

Nothing is as simple as it seems...I continue to do buying and selling online but have never even considered doing another COD Transaction and always make sure to receive guaranteed funds before sending out a product.

I guess some lessons are learned the hard way and as they say...Karma is a b*tch!

Damnit Jake

So the other day i take this smokin hot latina chick named Daniela out to dinner at Las Fajitas Mexican restaurant in Boca Florida...after dinner i suggested we go to a bar, by the time we got to the front door of O'Brians she tells me she’s underage…plan B she suggests we go hang out with my room-mate Jake and his girl Ally.

By the time we get to the house, next thing I know Jake is smacking Daniella on the ass and clearly hitting on her and he’s doing it in front of his girlfriend. What you need to know is Jake is the stifler type of guy with big biceps and does what he wants.

Meanwhile im just sitting back and getting more and more mad. I’d like to say I pulled an Arnold Schwarzenegger and broke down the door grabbing Daniela and leaving everybody, but I pretty much just sat on the couch and watched while Jake kept hitting on Daniela.

This was my Saturday nite, I was Pissed On.

Driving Young

Who has ever thought about test driving a car before they were legally allowed to drive? Well, I was 14 and my parents were out to dinner. I needed to get something from my friends house who lived just around the corner. I had two options; I could take my bike or take the car. Well obviously I decided to take the car. I made it all the way to my friends house and back, even pushed the car a little beyond the speed limit. I was was super excited, all in the clear. As I was pulling the car back into the drive way I decided I would take it out for one more quick spin around the block. Just as I was pulling back out of the driveway, I clipped the front fender on a tree! The car was literally stuck and my parents were do back any second. Well of course my parents ended up coming home and found the car stuck in the trees. PissedOn
